Skipper Kape is inspired by Kanyakumari and the rich tradition of fisher folk in the locality.

Home To 200 Species

Kanyakumari, popularly known to the world as Cape Comorin is located at the southernmost tip of the Indian peninsula. It is the geographical end of the Indian mainland and a rare place on earth where both sunrise and sunset can be viewed from the same ocean front. Home to over two hundred species of marine fish, Kanyakumari is one of the best fishing grounds in India.

The wedge bank situated on the coastline of Cape Comorine boosts the availability of fish food organisms and the physical features of water at the region favors feeding and breeding of fishes.  So that, fishes select this region for feeding and breeding purposes which leads to high growth rate of quality fishes.  The wedge bank here is one of the twenty wadge banks in the maritime countries across the world.  Featuring such a maritime environment, Cape Comorin is a treasure-trove of seafood.
